| Steven Menendez was destined for fashion. Born and raised in Miami Florida, he was drawn to fashion photography since early childhood. At young age he began styling his wardrobe from head to toe, directing photo-shoots and taking pictures. In 1987, fresh out of high school, Steven opened a fabulous vintage boutique in South Beach. He became known by models, stylists and magazine editors, who encouraged him to bring his magic to the set. His career as a fashion stylist rocketed and he soon proved to be sought after for his talent and vision. Steven then attended the International Center of Photography (ICP) and began his career as a beauty and fashion photographer. His perspective on photography has been greatly inspired by his travels. Contact with people and landscapes during his extensive time spent in Hawaii and the Yucatan as well as trips to Kenya and Bali further influenced his creative perspective. His passion for living in touch with the earth and wish for the world to continue on the pathway towards a greener planet guide him in all of his pursuits. "With a history of over 20 years in the industry Steven knows what it takes to create a successful photo-shoot.
